A Good Friend Is Hard To Lose

One of the great loves of my life.

Maybe not so recently I learned that one of the great loves of my life is moving to China for a least a year.  Admittedly,  my heart is a little broken that my sister is leaving on her great adventure without me.  But I know that this is an adventure she needs to take without me, so that she can learn the lessons that she needs to learn.  If I was there I might feel compelled to protect her and inadvertedly cause her to miss the learning opprotunity.  I know that this adventure will come with joys and growing pains and that will transform her into an even more beautiful person.  Sarah, I love you.
